The Oldest Child

Being the Oldest Child Many people, especially in my culture, think that being the oldest child in a family means that someone has to give in and prioritize their younger siblings over themselves. In some cases, there are those who have to give up going to school and become breadwinners for their families.

My parents never demanded that I be the breadwinner, but I feel I have to take responsibility for it. It is okay for me; I never protest to God or My parents; instead, I call It a gift from God. Born as the Oldest Child means that we are capable and strong enough to face a rude world to protect our family. How many people were born as oldest children like me? Don’t blame your life for how hard it is; don't ever give up.

But don’t forget to take a rest and make yourself happy too. Buy the things you want, love the people you love, sleep more, eat healthy foods more, and do anything you want. This is a simple message from me, the Oldest child in the world. I just want you to know that you are not alone and that you are amazing.
